Availability isn't set for this week
Record who's available for which shifts and which
days they need off, and the week is built from it. Seniority
decides who gets a shift when several people are available.
Notes for the week
Request time off
Time off is a hard block on real dates, so it spans
weeks and outranks availability — nothing is ever scheduled inside it.
Use the Roster's unavailable days for a standing weekday someone can never
work; use this for a holiday, an appointment or a leave of absence.
Approved time off
Roster
Row order is seniority: the top
employee gets first claim on every shift. Drag the handle to reorder. Unavailable
days are standing weekday blocks the generator will never fill. A weekly target
is optional — leave it blank and that employee's hours are reported without
being capped. Removing someone keeps every past schedule they appear on.
Removed employees
Kept so their past schedules still read correctly.
They are not offered for new shifts.
